Written by: Alea Doyanan Social media has helped families, social workers, and the government in identifying information during disasters because it has made it easier to disseminate information and to ask for help faster. If I compare this to the past where information was only provided by media such as TV, radio and print, it is actually better because on social media it is increasing or not so it is fake news.
